For more than 60 years the Castle Road, together with the Romantic Road, has been one of the longest established themed routes in Germany. Since 2012 the popular holiday route can present a new achievement: the merger of innovative hotel businesses to become the "Premium Partners" of the Castle Road.
This intends to widen the touristic base of the Castle Road and to reach a new dimension with the hotels and service providers for the "Castle Road Experience". Interested companies are cordially invited to join this initiative.
Common Goals
The founding hoteliers have formulated three common goals for new Castle Road hotels:
- We want to effectively increase the popularity of the Castle Road and the Castle Road hotels among relevant target groups
- The occupancy of the Castle Road hotels should be increased sustainably both on weekends and during the week; this also applies to the touristic value
- On the platform of the association "The Castle Road e.V." we build up a confident and creative network, both with the association and with other Castle Road hotels
The Contribution of the Castle Road
The Castle Road seeks direct contakt with the Castle Road hotels and recommends them unreservedly to guests and multipliers at home and abroad.
News and offers of the Castle Road hotels are made public via www.burgenstrasse.de and www.castleroad.de as well as via the German and English newsletter.
An individual brochure as well as an individual section in the Castle Road magazine present the Castle Road hotels as perfect overnight accommodations along your Castle Road journey.
The Contribution of the Premium Partners
As a hotel of the Castle Road you support the visibility of the Castle Road by brochure display, excursion tips, the linking of your website and through the exchange and mutual recommendations with other Castle Road hotels.
Your employees perfectly know about the Castle Road route from Mannheim to Bayreuth and enthusiastically suggest further visits of castles, palaces and medieval cities along the Castle Road.
They are supported by touristic branch offices and the motivated employees of the Heilbronn office.
